Long time Old Town resident — thrilled we have a great bagel place now. They are phenomenal. Reminds me of Bodos in Cville. I hope they expand menu and hours soon! Edit 1/19: this is our third weekend in a row looking forward to the bagels here. There’s already a line waiting to get in before it opens! Congrats to these guys! Bagels are amazing.

Great ambiance, reasonably priced. Eat in, cozy, great hideaway. Ordered a cold brew, and an everything bagel with lox, capers, tomato, red onion, and cream cheese. The Lox sandwich is popular, but for me, the lox was sliced a bit too thickly, but overall, a good bagel and ingredients. Also features made to order deli subs and pizza. Establishment also sells infused olive oils, truffle oils, dry pasta, balsamic vinegar, bruschetta spread, and artichokes in olive oil. Tuesday-Friday 8-2, Saturday-Sunday 9-3. Good spot to spend a relaxing morning.

A taste of the 5 boroughs

Growing up I would visit my grandmother in Brooklyn regularly, she lived in a neighborhood with a very heavy Jewish population.  This meant there were great delis and bakeries - which meant great bagels.  Fresh bagels were always part of the trip.  Growing up in Massachusetts, myself, I was fortunate enough to have some decent bagel places; but, after moving to Old Town, that wasn't the case.

That's why I finally decided it was time to bring quality bagels to Old Town.

We serve fresh NY style bagels, boiled and baked on site, in small batches.  Our bagels are exactly what a bagel should be - a nice crunch on the outside with a chewy inside that you only get from traditional boiling.

We make our bagels with two very important ingredients - care and time.  The dough is made with only the best ingredients, always hand rolled and slow fermented for optimal taste. Although our bagels can be stored to eat later they are best enjoyed the same day since we never use any preservatives and only the freshest ingredients.

My goal is for these bagels to bring you the satisfaction only a truly amazing bagel can.  Whether that's because it reminds you of time spent with your grandmother or grandfather in New York, you lived or visited there, or if you just love great bagels.  No matter what, I hope you take a bite and feel the happiness a great bagel should give you.
